1a. A University Alumnus/Alumna: Defined as someone who matriculated with the goal of attaining a degree (i.e. generally anyone who enrolled in the University)

OR

1b. A permanent, full-time faculty/employee of Auburn University at the time of entrance into active duty

AND

2a. Member of U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Army-Air Force, Merchant Marines, and during Civil War Confederate Armed Forces) during defined periods of conflict;

OR

2b. Members of select other U.S. Federal Government Agencies serving in support of U.S. National Security Interests during defined periods of conflict

AND

3. Died while performing military duties or were listed Missing in Action during the conflict period and for at least ten years afterward.
